If the skip is required to be left on the road then you will always require a permit and in some cases a bay suspension. We can arrange both the permits and bay suspensions for most councils. Prices differ from council to council and can take anything from 2-10 days to arrange (council dependant). Help and advice is  always available from our friendly permit team. All your waste is taken to our Material Recycling Facility in Wimbledon. Here it goes through a mechanical and manual treatment process which separates the different materials. These are then recycled in various ways, while rubbish that cannot be recycled is used for energy creation. This way we hope to recycle 100% of your waste.

When you arrange for skip hire, it’s likely you’ll need a skip permit and you’ll get the initial hire period of two weeks. For rubbish clearance, you won’t need a skip permit as our vehicles arrive at your designated site to take away your light, bulky waste on the day.

Usually, 24 hours is required for deliveries, collections and exchanges, but if you call us early we can provide a same-day service for those in local areas. Next-day service means we can guarantee service for the morning or afternoon the following day. We’ll always do our best to work around your requirements, so contact us if you have a tight schedule to meet.

On private property, we drop skips on your drive or on the road outside your house. For businesses, offices, warehouses and factories the same applies, but we can also offer waste disposal services to help meet the needs of contractors and builders at any site.

You can order a skip for up to a two-week hire period. This hire period can be extended if you contact us to request this, or we can arrange for an exchange if you fill a skip and require another.

Skips must be level-loaded at all times to ensure safety and that rubbish remains contained whilst in transit.

In accordance with environmental legislation, fridge freezers, asbestos, and tyres are not permitted to be placed in or beside a skip. However, if you do require a fridge or freezer collection, we’ll be happy to arrange a dedicated vehicle to dispose of these for you.

Plasterboard, carpet, carpet tiles, wood/metal tiles, tarmac, ceiling tiles and asphalt must be kept separate and is charged on a haulage and tonnage rate – if these materials are mixed in with others, it will be charged as a contaminated load. Prices are available on request.

Scroll down to our accepted waste section for more information.

If you are struggling to gain a road permit for a skip, we also offer a rubbish collection service. Our wait and load service means the driver will wait while you fill the vehicle with waste to be taken away. Contact us for more details on this service if required.
